CELTIC, Central Europe. Vindelici. 1st century BC. Quinarius (Silver, 13 mm, 1.79 g, 1 h), 'Brillengesicht' type. Celticized head with curly hair and prominent eye to left. Rev. Horse galloping right; above, pellet and two torques. Flesche 383. Kellner, Manching, 2316. A sharp, very well centered and beautifully toned piece. Very light porosity, otherwise, extremely fine.
